Our names are Stuart and Annie Whitehead, and we are originally from Berkshire. Our children have flown the nest, pursuing different careers and universities. We started our B&B business in 2001 and have gone from strength to strength. Our repeat bookings are a true sign of success, and we value them highly.

Primrose cottage is a two bed-roomed, self-catering cottage.  We restored this listed old hay barn in 2004, keeping the original floor levels, beams and wall contours. We are proud to have saved this beautiful building from dilapidation.

In Huntshaw, we are able to dwell in the richness of the countryside, immerse ourselves in the history of North Devon and live a peaceful life with our three horses, two dogs and two cats & numerous hens. We can offer you from our historic home, a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation, and peacefulness. And real home-cooking!
